It's been forever since I've planned meals. I spend so much less and don't stand in the kitchen at 4 pm twiddling my thumbs and wondering what I'm going to fix for dinner. So, in an effort to get back on track, here's my menu for the next two weeks.
Friday
Breakfast: oatmeal with frozen strawberries or blueberries
Lunch: whatever we want to eat as we are unpacking the groceries
Dinner: Sweet and sour meatballs over rice with green beans
*make dough, make meatballs when we get home from the store
Saturday
Homemade donuts filled with various jams
leftovers
ask the sweet birthday boy what he wants
*make a cake
Sunday
eggs and toast or rolls
homemade mac and cheese
birthday party
*make coconut cream pie in am
Monday
German apple or blueberry pancake
maid rites with homemade fries
manicotti with bread sticks and green beans
*cook two chickens, make more dough
Tuesday
muffins
leftovers
out to eat
*make pretzels
Wednesday
oatmeal
pizza
tacos with beans, rice, salsa, etc.
Thursday
sunny side up egg in the middle of toast
leftovers
potato soup
*make sandwich bread
Friday
cinnamon toast
leftovers
kids' choice or let them cook
Saturday
cereal
sesame noodles with carrots
meatloaf, mashed potatoes, broccoli
Sunday
